Ruth graduated in 2000 from the School of Occupational Therapy at Curtin University of Technology. She has worked in both public and private hand therapy departments before joining the Specialised Hand Therapy Services team in 2006. She has also tutored and lectured in hand therapy at both Curtin University and Edith Cowan University. Ruth is currently a Member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) and the WA Hand Interest Group. She has a particular interest in traumatic hand injuries.
