Amanda graduated in 2007 from Curtin University of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She worked in the areas of Occupational Health & Safety, Injury Management and Vocational Rehabilitation in the mining and public sectors, before discovering a passion for hand therapy in 2011.
Amanda has completed post-graduate study in Advanced Hand Therapy through Monash University, and is an active member of local and national Hand Interest Groups. Amanda recently presented a hand therapy workshop for the Alice Springs Hospital Occupational Therapy Department followed by a stint of locum hand therapy work in Far North Queensland while caravanning with her family in 2018.
Amanda is an Accredited Hand Therapist, as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
