Janet graduated from Curtin University with a Masters of Occupational Therapy in early 2004. Her degree has seen her work as a rural therapist in the Upper Great Southern and in specialty areas of soft tissue therapy, vocational rehabilitation, and paediatrics working within the national disability insurance scheme. Janet is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and build capacity and confidence to return to participating in activities that are important to them.

She joined the Specialised Hand Therapy Services team in 2025. She is an associate member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association. When not helping patients reach their therapy goals she can be found playing hockey or hiking in her spare time.
