Lauren graduated in 2005 from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She has worked previously in private practice soft tissue therapy and in general rehabilitation roles within a private hospital setting, and for the Australian Federal Government. Since early 2012, Lauren began working for Specialised Hand Therapy Services and as such, has been able to combine her love of hand therapy, with living in beautiful Albany. She is currently an Associate Member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA). Lauren has previously completed the AHTA Fundamentals of Hand Therapy Course, and “Explain Pain” course through the Neuro Orthopaedic Institute (NOI), and more recently has completed the AHTA “Closed Trauma” course. She is due to attend a course in Fine Motor Skills Development and Hand Writing for Children, in August 2019 through the WAOTA.
