After graduating with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) in 2020 from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, Amber decided to pursue a career in hand therapy. Through her work in the private sector in New Zealand, she developed her clinical expertise and was awarded full Hand Therapy Registration by the Hand Therapy Association of New Zealand in 2023. Amber joined Specialised Hand Therapy Services in November 2024 and is currently an Associate Member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association. She actively participates in special interest groups and ongoing professional development, and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science (Rehabilitation) from the Auckland University of Technology. Amber has a particular interest in functional skill restoration and return-to-sport rehabilitation following injury, drawing on her personal background in hockey and water sports.
